On Location with The Laureate

Every place has a story. Let’s find it. On Location with the Laureate follows filmmaker and 2025–26 Penn State Laureate Pearl Gluck across Penn State’s Commonwealth campuses and the communities that surround them — from historic theaters to hidden archives, from murals to main streets. Along the way, she meets the librarians, students, artists, archivists, educators, and local legends who keep cultural memory alive. Part road trip, part documentary, part civic conversation, the series uncovers the stories already rooted in these places — and the people who carry them forward. Every stop is a new episode.
